Anna Martens and Eric Narioo started making wine together on Mount Etna, Sicily in 2008.Theycreated “Vino di Anna” in 2010. They now own several hectares of old vine Nerello Mascalese, which they farmorganically. They purchased an old winery and Palmento in 2010 which they have restored. Recently they have extended the winery to bury a series of Georgian qvevri for vinification and maturation.
All wines are made with minimal intervention, indigenous yeasts, no additives, no fining or filtering and little or no SO2 additions. A variety of fermentation vessels are used; a traditional Etnean palmento, stainless steel, wood and qvevri.

TASTING NOTE: Pale straw in colour, this wine has pretty, floral notes of white blossom coupled with lemons. It is fresh and delicate on the palate with a textural mouthfeel that is in harmony with the sapidity and salinity of the wine.
