Symphonie - Pinot Noir 2016
On the slopes of what is known as the “Coteaux de Sierre,” (a.k.a. foothills of Sierre) the soil is limestone with a bit of chalk. Pinot Noir thrives here, and the wines from this part of the Valais are highly prized as the best in the region. The Pinot Noir for this cuvee is planted at 750 meters (about 2,500 feet) in altitude.
Symphonie is composed of 100% Pinot Noir and is aged in Swiss oak barrels for 12 months. It is a wine of structure and elegance, subtlety and finesse.
