About the event
Inspired by the vast range of artisanal cheeses on offer at the monthly Chiswick Cheese Market, we are putting on the ultimate Wine & Cheese Sunday lunch.
Victoria Daskal (wine expert) and Patrick McGuigan (cheese expert) will be presenting their top wine & cheese pairings, unveiling some their best finds from the World Cheese Awards (where they judge), and discussing how to understand quality in wine and in cheese, and what makes for the perfect pairing.

Victoria Daskal is a wine writer, presenter, educator, and judge with over 15 years of experience in the wine industry. Victoria is the founder of Mummy Wine Club, an award-winning wine subscription club and wine events company based in London. She specialises in presenting wines from all over the world for private, corporate, and virtual wine events. She has completed a MSc in International Wine Management, and a Diploma from the WSET in London where she currently teaches.
Patrick McGuigan is a cheese writer, who contributes to The Telegraph, The Times and delicious., among many other titles. His book, The Philosophy of Cheese, was published by The British Library in 2020. He is also a senior judge at the World Cheese Awards, a member of the Guild des Fromagers and teaches the Academy of Cheese qualification. He passed the WSET Level 3 wine qualification with Merit in 2021.
